Mr. Levine will be the PDC’s chief source of legal advising and consultation. As founding Partner of the Palo Alto intellectual property firm Levine Bagade Han, LLP, David Levine’s patent practice includes domestic and foreign patent drafting and prosecution, trademark filing and prosecution, intellectual property portfolio management, and strategy development for clients in the medical device and software fields. Over the course of his career, Mr. Levine has worked on preparing, filing and/or prosecuting over 1,000 U.S. and international patents and patent applications.

\Mr. Levine’s practice includes determining and attaining successful protection of his clients’ developed intellectual property. His clients have included large publicly-held companies, small and medium-sized privately-held companies, sole inventors, and a prominent academic institution. Most of Mr. Levine’s clients work on medical devices, including Aardvark Medical, Inc., maker of the ClearRinse pediatric nasal irrigator and aspirator. Before entering private practice, Mr. Levine worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in an art unit that specialized in medical devices.
