Led by Dr. Michael Harrison, PDC engineers, clinicians and collaborators have been developing an alternative treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) powered by magnetic force called the Magnap. The device is currently in a first-in-human clinical trial at UCSF and is accepting new patients. J.J. Standing, a clinical trial participant, told ABC 7 News, “It’s saving my life. I’m lucky to be able to say I’m the first one.”
