PDC Team Wins in UC Berkeley Venture Lab Competition

September 21, 2011 PDC members Philip Chung, Mozzi Etemadi, Shuvo Roy, and Larry Rand were among the winners in UC Berkeley's Venture Lab Competition, a program of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology to accelerate the launch of startup companies. The PDC team, Pericare Diagnostics, is developing a non-invasive wireless device that diagnoses preterm labor before the onset of symptoms. They will receive startup funds as well as guidance in business development, early-stage financing, and professional networking from the program.
